A game you can’t escape and a new weapon

Gallery Naruyama will be introducing a new side of graffiti writer WANTO.  

On his signature steel canvases, his work ventures into a new form of poetry depicting lettering , as well as scenes from his current location. He also for the first time has made his original character, "Throw Up Man" into a three-dimensional, hand-painted figure made from soft vinyl. We will be showing an exclusive, colorful Gallery Naruyama version at the exhibition.

"The places, smells, colors, atmosphere, shapes, thoughts and imaginations that I see are turned into oil paintings, poems and songs. They are like ephemeral records that capture the present. The locations of these paintings are made up of places that actually exist, and I am sure they will continue to change and continue in some way.”
