The works from Arai’s personal collection—created using the precise painting technique known as “Arai-nuri,” which has led the soft vinyl figure industry—are art pieces that have attracted global attention. As a result, many counterfeits are in circulation, but the figures owned by the artist himself are considered undeniable proof of authenticity.
