WANTO is a graffiti writer. The motive for painting in oil on a gambas-shaped iron plate was to try to bring the graffiti of the city into the gallery. I draw landscapes that I found during my wanderings, but this time I cut out a new place, Kawasaki, with a sentimental conflict. In this exhibition, we will also present works that implement poetry and graffiti on tatami mats, which we have tried for the first time.


"KAWASAKI NINJA"

There is a top-class heavy industrial area in Japan that supports the life of Japan. In the morning, dump trucks start to get stuck in a traffic jam on the Wangan Route, full of exhaust gas, and the sky feels bright even at night. Unpopular and unmaintained rusty places and abandoned vehicles. Eating meat overflowing from the man who seeks it. The trajectory of this place that makes me feel nostalgic.
