Horfee may be better known as a graffiti artist, but contrary to his street activities he has also studied traditional fine art techniques at the prestigious École Nationale Supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris, France. Now changing his medium from outdoor public spaces to indoor canvases, his work combines an array of abstract characters with an underlying theme of irony and humor. The spontaneous nature of his work can be credited to his experience as a graffiti artist, who, by nature of their craft, need to work quickly and under cover. He has exhibited in contemporary art galleries in France, the US, the UK, Germany and in Japan.
